Happened so fast!

This was quite a large update, and I was basically finished with it in June already—but then I got sidetracked… I’ve added around 30 pieces of art—including three new categories (Glee, Dollhouse and Vampire Diaries). I’ve added new affiliates (including Heather who is also my Site of the Summer) and updated my resource list as well (that was a pain…). I would write more in detail about the update if I thought anybody cared and if I had more time. I’m currently at a friend’s house and we’re on our way out. (And I know if I put this off again I won’t be finished until August!)

So, Ill guess the next update will be around Christmas!

Long Time No See

Oh my, I can hardly believe I’m done! Five months worth of updating—it builds up. I’ve spent three days more or less working on this. First the new layout, that was actually what took the least amount of time (though maybe you can see that?). Going with the New Moon hype that’s sweeping across the world (scary is what it is really—much scarier than vampires…). White for the snowy (holds thumbs) winter!

So why did it take me five months to update? Laziness, school and a life. Because I have one—some times at least! Also, I’ve become more of a blog person than an art person… Either way, I do have a lot of new art! 16 new pieces (if my math is right) and five new icons (I know—me? icons? huh?). The icons look tarded but that’s life. I do like some of the art, the one titled “solengarner” (for no reason what so ever, I must’ve had a stroke when I named it since no-where in the lyrics or concept is there anything about a setting sun (solen går ner=the sun sets in Swedish) which is also why in the art-section it’s actually called Kär i en Ängel.), which is about Vamp Bella. I would love to comment on every piece but I won’t because of two reasons. One, it’s almost four AM. Two, nearly every piece is commented on in the art-section all ready so if you’re truly curious you can head over there.

Would you believe me if I said I’d updated every section? I’ve renewed all the links (most of them anyway!) so that the resources and my affiliates are up to date. The affiliates was actually a bit sad—goes to show how lousy I am really… Out of 57 affiliates 29 had closed since I last checked, which was in like 2007. Now I’ve added two more (Jo and Kayla) so I should have…no, my brain isn’t up for it.

I actually looked over and tweaked the info about me that no-one ever looks at or read (unless they’re bored beyond boredom)! Oh, wait! I lied about updating every section—I haven’t updated the writing-section. I do have things to add from last year but they’re stories I have on paper not digitally, so it’s a bit too much work for me at the moment.

Lastly, I’ve updated my Site of the Season. “Site of the Season?” you wonder—well, considering I’ve had three updates this year, the thought of keeping Site of the Month seems unrealistic and well…idiotic. I’ve therefore decided to give out seasonal awards whenever I update (which hopefully will be Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter next year!). This season (winter) went to the amazing site Daydreaming.

I wish I had time…

Now, I’ve added a lot of things. But I really don’t have time to write about them. I go away on a trip tomorrow and get back in the beginning of August. I’ll finish up then. Until that time though, I can say that I’ve added new art (and new categories!), two new short stories, an essay, a gradient set and a new Site of the Month (well, Summer really XD).
