Welcome

(I'm studying)

I greet you welcome to my own little home on the Internet. This is where I store (and show off) my art and my writing (the one in English). The art is mostly inspired by my favourite TV-shows though some of it is just a result of a sudden spurt of creativity when fining a new picture etc. In addition, you can find tutorials helping you build your own website and make your own art. All coding is done by me, with help from other sites of course, if I've used a script from another site credit is given here.

What's with the name?
'Call Her Green' is taken from one of the best songs (according to me) ever written. It's a Joni Mitchell song called 'Little Green'. I didn't want to take the actuall song name so I took the part of the song I like the most:

Call her green and the winters cannot fade her
Call her green for the children who've made her

Basically the message is that if she's called Green, she'll never fade away. A beautiful message if you ask me. The rest of the song is very sad. It's about a woman (Joni Mitchell in real-life) who has to adopt away her new-born daughter. A very sad song indeed, but so beautiful and in some mystic, really weird way, the lyrics give some sort of comfort. That's why I love it so much.
